I’m also considering a change in the content; more concentrated on tutorials, and having music and scripting as 2 main subjects. We’ll see.

Rubik cubes in the 4th and 5th dimension

I had this come up to me as a stupid question: “what would a rubik cube look like in the fourth dimension?”

It only took a short searching on google to find out about it. Some people decided to create computer games based on that.

4th dimension looks like this:

However, the most impressive one is the 5th dimension Rubik Cube:

Those who managed to complete the puzzle have their name in their hall of fame, and you can see how many operations it took them to do so. If you look on the website a bit more, you’ll end up finding a guy who made a java program to solve it for you. Quite impressive.

MySpace buys Photobucket

Launched in 2003, Photobucket receives 17m unique visitors per month – a massive number, except that the majority of traffic was being referred by MySpace (despite constant denials from the company).

After a bust up between the companies that led to Photobucket videos being blocked on MySpace, it looked like Photobucket’s relationship with the social network it fed on wasn’t running smoothly.

The blog mentions the acquirement as confirmed.

http://www.techcrunch.com mentions the price of the transaction was of $250 millions, and there are chances another $50 millions will be added to the deal.
